Ingredients

200 g thinly sliced beef ( or your choice of protein)

1 pack Mr Chen’s Vietnamese Pho Kit (includes rice noodles, pho broth concentrate, dried vegetables)

750 mL (3 cups) water

1 cup fresh bean sprouts

2 spring onions, sliced

1 red chilli, thinly sliced

Sesame seeds, for serving

Fresh coriander (optional)

Lime wedges (optional)

Cook the Noodles Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the rice noodles from the Pho Kit and cook for 4 minutes (or until tender). Drain well, then divide the cooked noodles between two large serving bowls.

Prepare the Broth In a medium saucepan, pour in 750 mL water. Add the Pho Broth concentrate and dried vegetables from the kit. Bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.

Cook the Beef Once the broth is boiling, add the thinly sliced beef directly to the pot. Simmer for 2 minutes, or until the beef is just cooked through and tender.

Assemble the Bowls Pour the hot beef and broth mixture evenly over the noodles in the bowls. Top generously with bean sprouts, sliced spring onion, and sliced red chilli for heat and crunch.

Finish and Serve Sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional) Garnish with fresh coriander and lime wedges, if desired.
