Korean Fried Chicken Kit 259g

This super easy Korean Fried Chicken kit will help you create delicious, crunchy chicken with golden nubbly bits to collect the smoky, sweet gochujang drizzle sauce. Our family can’t resist digging in to a piping hot pile - it’s hectic, happy and hands-on, just the way good food should be.

Cooking Instructions
Preparation:
  1. Combine chicken with the Gochujang paste and leave to marinate for 10 mins (or longer if possible).

  2. Once marinated, coat chicken pieces with the flour.

For Air Fryer:
  1. Prepare your air fryer by pre-heating to 180C.

  2. Place battered chicken pieces in the Air Fryer and generously spray vegetable oil on the pieces.

  3. Cook the pieces in the Air Fryer for 5-12 mins depending on the size of the pieces.

  4. Turn the pieces over and cook for a further 5-7 mins.

  5. Remove chicken pieces from the Air Fryer and serve drizzled with the Korean Sesame Sauce and Korean Spice Mix sprinkled over.

For conventional cooktop frying:
  1. Prepare your pan for shallow frying with enough oil to half cover the chicken.

  2. Place on cooker on medium heat.

  3. Heat oil and add your chicken pieces carefully with tongs.

  4. Cook for 3 mins. Then turn pieces and cook for a further 3 mins. ensuring all the chicken has been cooked through (drumsticks will take a couple of minutes longer than wings and drumettes).

  5. Use tongs to remove chicken from oil, and place on absorbent paper towel to absorb excess oil.

  6. Serve drizzled with the Korean Sesame Sauce and Korean Spice Mix sprinkled over.

Korean Soy & Sesame sauce (129g):

Water 27.35%, Brown Sugar,Soy Sauce [Water,Soybean,Wheat,Salt,Sugar], Apple, Mirin (Glucose Syrup,Mirin Genshu,Water,Alcohol),White Pepper,Rice Vinegar,Coriander Seeds,Thickener (1422), Garlic Powder, Garlic, Onion, Sesame Oil,Chilli Flake, Color (150c).

Contains soy, sesame, wheat (gluten).
